Hi,

I do not think this is an Easy Profile problem, but thought I would ask you just in case. The emails triggered by the Skeleton plugin have stopped today on my website. When they should be triggered I get the error "Could not instantiate mail function".

From your experience, any idea what might cause this? I know it could be that the PHP mail is no longer running on the server. My hosting provider is investigating, but it is strange, it came out of nowhere.

Hey, don't worry about this. I switched my Joomla global configuration over to use SMTP instead of the PHP mailer and the problem went away. The problem was not isolated to the triggers from skeleton. All site emails stopped.

The problem is clearly with the server my site is hosted on, and this is probably the same issue I asked about weeks back when emails were strangely not being triggered. The bottom line is this is NOT an EasyProfile issue, more of a bad hosting provider issue!!

Thanks.
