Hi,
do you load the module with some plugin like "Modules Anywhere"? if yes then it's possible that it does not works. These plugins load content plugin (like email cloak), but the module show the content and already do this.
If it is so then the solutions are:
1) load module with normal Joomla behavior (template position) or use the Joomla load module plugin (this is a Joomla built in module that do the same of "Modules Anywhere" )
2) disable plugin "Content - Email Cloaking" from Extensions->Plugins
