Hello,

I am looking for the following solution. I would like to give a board member of an association the opportunity to adjust the rights of user groups of registered users. This should be possible in the frontend of my joomla site. Is this possible?

Kind regards,
Marco

Hi,
this is possible but with following limitations:
1) Easy profile does not expose usergroups in frontend, so the only way to do this is to add a field with many options as Usergroups and to add conditions to add/remove Users for Joomla Usergroups.
For example I can have a select field with following options:
- Registered
- Admin
and add following Conditions:
- if contain custom value "Registered" then add to usergroup "Registered"
- if contain custom value "Admin" then add to usergroup "Manager"

2) Easy Profile allow you to set a field to be available in registration, edit profile, profile and in backend. Unfortunately when you set to be not available in edit profile (with this registered users are not able to change it) then also admins cannot edit this field. A workaround is to enable in Easy Profile options the patameter called "Admins can show not editable fields in frontend", this options will show all not editable fields (not only the field that you use to add/remove users from/to usergroup, see screenshot). You can test this behavior in free version.
