Resolved Error I get after installing Joomla update

Hi there, I've have used Easy Profile for a couple of years on our website and it works great with no issues but after the latest update from Joomla 3.4 to Joomla 3.4.1 I'm getting an error: ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS and the site does not opens on the browser. I upgraded to Easy Profile 1.3.9 hopping this issue might get resolved but it does not.
I wonder if you could help me if there's anything I can do to resolve this issue. I had to used a backup and downgrade back to Joomla 3.4 to have the site up and running but it's a risk because Joomla can get easy hacked when it's not updated to the lates version.

Hi,
I think this is a Joomla problem. Please check these:
- if you have .htaccess try to rename
- if you have multilanguage try to check Content Language permission
- if you extensions like falang or sh404sef try to disable
- Try with different browser
- if you have enabled cache in Joomla try to clean

This error comes in Home Page?
