Resolved formatName instead of Name or username in the Joomla Reg. E-Mail

Hi

It seems there are some other people with the same issue.
When users register with the Easy-Profile Form, they get an E-Mail with

Dear formatName

instead of

Dear "Real Name"

I tried everything under "Display Format Name" without success.

Hi,
this happen because you use ajax (with modal) to get registration form, unfortunately this way load only content (body) and not load also header (head), so missing some javascript.

To fix this try to replace registration link from:


/abmelden?view=registration&ml=2

to


/abmelden?view=registration&tmpl=component

Additional version informations for this problem: Joomla 3.8.0, Easy Profile 2.4.7
On an another site, where is Joomla 3.8.0, and Easy Profile 2.4.6, the name appears well.

have you some tools that optimize javascript (maybe managed by your template) ? if yes try to disable it, I found some javascript error in your registration page

I don't use any script optimizer tool. Was previously installed the JCH Optimizer, but has been disabled for a long time.

Hi,
sorry for late reply, in these days we are very busy.

Solved in your site, I have simply changed the order of plugin Easy Profile - System plugin by moving it a bit lower down. I don't know which plugin cause the problem but it change the output of our javascript code.

Order Example - Before

- Plugin that cause problem (I don't know which plugin :o )
