Resolved How to set value in custom field when user registers or signs up for membership

We have a custom field (see screenshot)
When a user registers on the site we want to set the value to 'visitor'
We also use Membership Pro. When someone signs up and is approved for membership we want to set this field to 'st_holder'
I have set the default value to 'visitor' How can I set these two values automatically?
Also is it possible if a user is set to 'st_holder' (Member) but their membership lapses this field can be set back to 'visitor'

How do I set thes things up?

There are different ways to do this (PHP script, SQL) but probably Membership Pro already have an integration with Easy Profile, see the screenshot from https://joomdonation.com/joomla-extensions/membership-pro-joomla-membership-subscription.html

So the way to make this could be more easy then a custom code, so we recommend to ask information to Membership Pro support
