Resolved Is there a limit for length of select list field with multiple selection?

Select List multiple selección, only allow select a limited number of items on register . There is a max length for this type of field?

sorry,
this is a complex problem, because:
- HTML select not have a max lenght
- We use built in Joomla jquery library and it not allow this

we will add this on our TODO list, but we not have a timeline.
