  2. Presales Question

Hello, I am thinking about purchasing a subscription and I have a few questions:

- Is it possible for an administrator to edit user data via the frontend?

- I already use Joomla native custom fields; Is it possible to continue using them? If so, is it possible to see the information for those custom fields in the user's profile at the frontend?

Thanks,

Roberto

Hi,
all these things are possible, to understand and check how Easy Profile works with Joomla custom fields then you can try the free version :)

Hi!

I suppose I would have to use HTML Delimiter Field Type plus content plugin code to load my user field group into a tab. Is that correct? If so, what code should I use?

Hi,
Joomla fields should be already visible in the profile page.

I have the same request and have installed the free version.
When listing users and click to see details I do not get the User Profil fields like "Address1", "Address2", "Region" etc.

How do include those in frontend listings - and search?

Hi,
fields from the "User - Profile" plugin are hidden for other users, so you will see these fields only in your own profile. To show these fields you need to create a minor template override of the profile page:
- Copy file from /components/com_jsn/views/profile/tmpl/default_fields.php into folder /templates/your-template-folder/html/com_jsn/profile/
- In the new file comment or delete line 23

Thank you - I see them in the tab: "user profile" now.

Any way to combine the tabs in a single list of fields?

Hi,
you can disable tabs layout from Easy Profile configuration (Components->Easy Profile->Options->Layout Settings)
