Resolved no multiple selection not working in search

hi
about field type " select",
i get always multiple selection enabled on search form even if i set multiple selection to "no" in field option.
the problem happens only in search but in inscription it works fine
i want to set all fields to single selection

This is a normal thing, in search mode you are able to search users by more than one options.

i can't understand why this is normal?
i have 3 field of type " select" as shown in attachement

2 City
3 Sector
i want to let visitors choose only one option of each field

i can't understand why this is normal?
with normal we mean that this is an expected behavior and not a bug.
For example with this way you can search "Peintre" and "Carreleur" (field "Metier";) members.

Anyway I have posted a workaround in the reply at https://www.easy-profile.com/support/placeholder-not-working-in-select-field-type.html :D
