I just purchased and downloaded the most recent Easy Profile. I see that this error was supposedly fixed some time ago.

1. The Webcam gets Parsererror when trying to capture an image -- administrator userid.
2. Users get Parsererror trying to upload an Avatar image -- administrators do not get this error on the admin page.

You get a nice progress bar and it looks like it worked, but then you get the Parsererror.

How can i fix this. I didn't want to download the fix I saw because the reply was that it would be fixed the next day.

Hi,
sorry for late reply, it's a weekend and our offices are closed.

if upload works in backend then probably this is not a error of Easy Profile. for example in the ticket at https://www.easy-profile.com/support/parsererror.html (where you have replied) the problem was due to some plugin that load Font Awesome from a CDN with a wrong way, causing all AJAX/JSON requests to return a error.

To check your problem we need to see your configuration, so can you please post me your site detail? if yes then you can use the form below the reply in "Site Details" tab.

Sorry, I forgot I did add the Ozio Gallery plug-in. I hope that isn't causing me a problem.

Hi,
now works, I have changed "Error Reporting" to "None" in System->Global Configuration->Server->Server Settings.

The problem was due to a PHP notice attached to Ajax response. Servers are normally configured to not show these messages, but you is different. This is not a error but in this case create this issue.

In the next release we will try to remove this PHP Notice, so you can keep original Joomla Configuration.
