Resolved possible to hide email addresses using visibility preferences?

Hello. I have some profiles that have fake email addresses in order to display their other information. I tried hiding their email field using the visibility preference set to hidden. This does not hide email though. Am I missing something? Is there a way to hide this field for *some* accounts?

hi,
sorry but your site seems unreachable.

anyway keep also in mind that owner can see his email, private privacy is not hidden, so make this test:
- make private email with an account
- with another account(not admin) try to see profile of previous user

You can simply set email field to not show on profile page.

I just need it hidden for the accounts with fake addresses; I need it visible for the real addresses. I was hoping the privacy controls would allow the fake accounts to be hidden.

Yes but privacy will be available for all users. So also normal users should hide email.

Keep in mind that Admins can always see all fields. Have you tried with a normal user or guest user?
