Hello!
I noticed such a bug. If the names of the field groups are written in Russian and tabs are selected in the settings, then the links like #about, #default etc look as #profile-tab0, #profile-tab1, #profile-tab2 etc.
How to fix this error?

Hi,
this is not a bug, this is an expected behavior otherwise the url hash will not works.

Thanks for the reply.
I think it would be more correct if the url hash was formed from an alias, and not the name of the group.
Then the problem with the display of the name of the group of fields in Cyrillic will be solved.

Unfortunately this is not so simple, because Joomla does not expose fieldgroups aliases.

Easy Profile extends Joomla user management (not replace), so the form is generated by Joomla, registration and edit profile pages are the same of Joomla (Built-in Joomla com_users) and tabs are created with plugins and javascript.

If it works like in Joomla, then the Cyrillic transliteration should obviously be. Why is this not working?

Russian Name of the field group: Статус
#profile-tab1

if transliteration works, then you have to be #status

Because this is managed in client side (javascript)

How can I change the design of tabs based on #profile-tab0, #profile-tab1, #profile-tab2 etc?

In the page code, the only difference is this (example): data-link="profile-tab0"

Understand itself, example code:

li[data-link="profile-tab0"] a {
color:#000000
}

I found that it does not work adequately...
The number of tabs displayed only to the owner and other users may vary. Therefore, the uniqueness of the proposed identifiers disappears. Styles profile-tab3 can belong to different tabs.

How can I assign unique identifiers to each group of tabs (this is not provided in the settings)?

P.S. Of course, using aliases in URL would solve this problem. (#alias)

Hi,
sorry but we do this type of support only to Basic/Pro members.

This is the better way, but unfortunately this is not possible with a simple way: Easy Profile extends Joomla user management (not replace), so the edit profile page is the same of Joomla with many improvements. Unfortunately the Joomla edit profile output does not expose fieldgroup's alias :(
