Hi,
this is a template problem, you should contact your template developer to fix it.
Easy Profile extends Joomla user management (not replace), so the edit profile page is the same of Joomla and it is improved with javascript and plugins.
This problem comes also without Easy Profile so the best way is to contact template support.
