Hi,
Easy Profile stores User data in a own DB table, this button allow you to create records in this table for already existing users (for example when you install Easy Profile or import users with some other tool).
Basically if the record in Easy Profile's User table does not exists but exists in Joomla's User table then you should not find errors, but sometimes integrations with other components may give you an error.
