Resolved Upgrade

Hi,

I tried to upgrade Easy profile 1.3.17 to 2.4.2 in Admin panel through Extensions - Update, but received an error message: "Error Invalid extension update".

I can't find the update on your website. How do I go about to update the extension.

Hi,
sorry for late reply, it's a weekend for us.

Old version of Easy Profile uses Joomla Updater system only for notifications (not for direct upgrade).

So to update you need to download latest version and simply install it with Joomla installer.

Keep in mind that now you have very old version, after 1.3.17 we have released nearly 20 new versions.

Please take a look to release notes before upgrade at http://docs.easy-profile.com/search/upgrade, and, of course, with an upgrade like this (version released 2 years ago!!) we recommend to make a backup before.
