Resolved Wrong URL in Notifications

Hi,

My site address is http:/http://www.businessbiscotti.co.uk

Today I have received a copy of a Notifications Summary sent to a member:-

This is the 3rd email on this I have received

This is clearly the wrong link. Whilst I do have a domain businessbiscottigold.com - it is parked and only points to the main site businessbiscotti.co.uk

I have checked my settings and cannot find any reference to businessbiscottigold.com on easyprofile.

Could you please advise

Hi,
notification summary is send one time for each day; send process is triggered when some user go to some page of the social plugin, this way avoid to configure CRON process that not all hosting provider supports.

URL like https://businessbiscottigold.com point to your site and it is correct (of course HTTPS certificate is not valid), anyway if for the system it's time to send a notification (it's precisely been 24 hours since the last delivery) and some guest go to https://businessbiscottigold.com then the notifications will be delivered from this domain.

This is not something that regards social plugin, this regards all Joomla parts that works with this way, for example notification like "Joomla! Update available for ..."

Who visited the domain https://businessbiscottigold.com ? Probably some guest but potentially it could also be a simple BOT.

Whilst I do have a domain businessbiscottigold.com - it is parked and only points to the main site businessbiscotti.co.uk
The best way to manage this is to set domain "businessbiscottigold.com" as a Redirect instead as a Alias. Now there are no differences or priorities between "businessbiscottigold.com" and "businessbiscotti.co.uk".
