hello

I use "import user plugin" to import my users CSV file, but after uploading my CSV file I got a error message of "invalid address", please see the attachment.

please help me to check my CSV file and find out where the problem is, thank you.

sorry, I encounter another problem, I have uploaded the CSV file but got the different error message, please see the attachment "error.png".

my CSV file contains Chinese text field, so after uploading CSV file, the error message display the garbled of all Chinese field.

but in user management of joomla, there are users imported, but no name field to choose, please see the attachment "screenshot2.png".

please help me to solve this problem. thank you very much.

I keep trying and error.

I change the CSV file format to UTF-8, but after uploading the file, no matter what the first field is, it display the error message "Unknown fields: XXXXXX", for example, the first filed is "number", the message "Unknown fields: number", the first filed is "title", the message "Unknown fields: title",

I wonder why ?

the problem is due to ";" separator in some line,
You have declared 13 fields:
memberid;group;company;title;firstname;phone;fax;email;website;address;products;username;password

but for example in row like this (line 20 of your file) you have some value with ";" char, so the line seems to have more than 13 fields:
332;0;嘉明機械(股)公司;顧問;江福全;+886-4-22332281;+886-4-22306247;cm.pet@msa.hinet.net;;台中市北區東成路90號;"中空成型機;PET二步法拉吹機;PET射拉吹機;押出成型;整廠設備製造";TRP332;

for this line you have products value like "中空成型機;PET二步法拉吹機;PET射拉吹機;押出成型;整廠設備製造", this contain many ";" chars.

hello

I edit the CSV file for proper format and import it successfully without error message, it show me "281 user imported".

but in user management, there is no name field for me to click to enter the user detail, please see the screenshot.

why ?

Hi,
I think there is some encoding problem.

Try to re-create a new UFT8 file with some tools like NotePad++, rewrite manually first line and copy/past users infos.

for me works, see screenshot

I found a problem at first line in your file, there some strange hidden char, so I have copied all content in a new file.

NOTE: Some username and email address missing and some email are not correctly, so some users can have access problem on your site.
NOTE2: You assign a empty password, but this is not allowed by Joomla, remove password column, the system will generate a new one for each user.
