Resolved Business page with easy profile

Hi Easy profile,

Thanks for the great extension you have created!
I have a customer that needs a business page, now i am trying to make that happen with easy profile and a new group in the custom fields.
The personal fields are all hidden for public and the business pages are shown to public.
So i have 2 different google locations, one for the person and one for the users to see eachother with all the information.

1 menu is showing all the business pages and i do not want any personal stuff here.
2 menu is showing the users after you are logged in.

The users after logged in also see all the fields on the business pages and i would like to hide them with css.
But the menu item of the business profiles and user profiles are the same. Even if i create 2 different ones.

A good solution could be if i could select a menu item on the easy profile user list settings in the menu.

I want to delete all the user stuff, image and name.
And show business stuff, logo and business name.

Alternative i need to watch out for an other extension, so i you know a combination that can do this i would love to know!

Hi,
this is possible with simple template override,

List
- copy attached file in folder /templates/your-template-folder/html/com_jsn/list/ (create folder first)
- open new file with a text editor
- at line 12 and 13 replace "110" with id of menu item of the list (you will find it in backend table of menu items)
- at line 12 replace "business_image" with alias of business image field
- at line 13 replace "business_name" with alias of business name field

This is a fast way, better is to create a view in template folder, but this require some work in more.

Map
- copy file from /modules/mod_jsnmap/tmpl/default.php into /templates/your-template-folder/html/mod_jsnmap/business.php
- open new file with a text editor
- at line 37 and at line 117 replace "avatar_mini" with alias of business image field
- at line 39 replace "formatname" with alias of business name field
- Now you will need to set this new layout for the module in this page (see screenshot)

NOTE: this code is not tested and not supported, this is only for example purpose.

Wow that is fast!
I will try that one!

Can you help me where to find working with views? Because i want 2 different views :-)
If i cant figure it out can i hire you guys to create this fix for me?

Hi,
with Joomla you can create infinite menu item types based on existing components views, so in your case you should create view for business to have a special menu item of type Easy Profile->Business List.

This is not something that we can explain because require Joomla dev knowledges.
Anyway at https://www.ostraining.com/blog/joomla/custom-category-layout/ you will find a nice operation guide to make this.

Hi, I think that i know what you mean.
So i will go in to this and if i have any problems i let you know.

Are you guys for hiring or do i need to ask my developer.
Because you know the system better i kan imagine that it is faster if you do it :-D
