We have 63 fields on a large Joomla Profile form. They are required fields (we ask user to enter "NA" if not applicable). We have enabled "Force the compilation of the required fields on login".

When the user is auto directed to the Edit Profile, he sees a huge Joomla Warning (message) box:

Warning
Some required fields are not filled, please complete your profile
Invalid field: field_label_1 ( group )
Invalid field: field_label_2 ( group )
...
...
Invalid field: field_label_63 ( group )

This is big and scary for the new user and we would like to hide the individual "Invalid field..." rows.
We only want to show the simple message, "Some required fields are not filled, please complete your profile".

Is this possible and how do we do that? Thanks!

Also, would if be possible to not show this warning message at all until the user actually clicks the "Submit" button?

Hi,
unfortunately this is not possible with a simple way. We will add to our TODO list the possibility to remove the list of fields in future releases.

For now you can make following minor custom hack to hide entire message:
- In file /plugins/system/jsn_system/jsn_system.php comment (or delete) the line 250
if(JFactory::getApplication()->input->get('task')!='profile.save' && JFactory::getApplication()->input->get('task')!='save') $app->enqueueMessage(JText::_('COM_JSN_COMPLETEREGISTRATION').'<br />'.$messageFieldsText,'warning');

Hello again,

Over the past year, have you found a solution yet to optionally hide the entire message? Maybe with a configuration yes-no selector or similar? Thanks!
