Hello-

I have a situation where registered members are added to a special group on the backend when their profile meets certain criteria. I have a condition set up so that in theory when set of check boxes includes a certain value, then the user should be added to this new group. While I can check the box fine, the user does not get added to the group. When I tried to add a user to the group manually, the user's new group assignment did not save.

I have provided site details for the test site for you.

Thanks.

mmmh..strange, with "contains" it works. We are still investigating, anyway for now you can use "contains" option instead "equal to"

I think you misread my original post. The user is not added to the group when the criteria is met, in this case when Active Performer contains "E" (for Encore), the user should be added to the Encore group. This is not happening, as I stated in my first post, either automatically or when I try to add the person manually to the group.

Hi,
this is an expected behavior because the group conditions works also in inverse mode....so for example:
Condition called "membership group": If contain custom value "m" add to usergroup "Member" - With option Inverse: "Yes" the condition become If contain custom value "m" add to usergroup "Member" otherwise remove from usergroup "Member"

In you case if you add a user to a "Member" usergroup but the user does not have the usertype field set to Member then the condition will remove the usergroup.
