Resolved Change the HTML template

Hello

I need to modify some HTML code on the register form. Like remove the ".well" class from the form.

I must keep the option Skip Template overrides and use Easy Profile improvements to YES. How can I do this with this option enabled ?

I don't want to lose my chages if I update the component

Hi,
yes it's possible,
you need also to override new view installed by Easy Profile at:
- /components/com_users/views/profile/tmpl/easyprofile.php
- /components/com_users/views/registration/tmpl//easyprofile.php
You can copy these files in template folder and change path at line 12 in these files

Anyway, we do not recommend this only to change some CSS class, for example instead remove .well you can simply add this CSS code:



#member-profile.well,

#member-registration.well{

    background:none;

    padding:0px;

    margin:0px;

    border:none;

    border-radius:0px;

    box-shadow:none;

}

You can add also login page selector: ".login form.well" or remove this class for all Joomla forms "form.well"

Keep in mind that overrides skip layout updates from Joomla, so only for Style purpose is not recommended (with CSS is all possible).

Yes thanks for your advice.

As for the added files, I didn't saw them because my WinSCP needed a refresh to display them.
