Hi,

We would like to change the email body of the email that is sent to users after they have been imported for the first time. The email contains email and password, however the text says username which is not correct in our case and also we would like to make the email text more specific to our organization.

I cannot find the text in the language overrides configuration. I tried to use PLG_USER_JOOMLA_NEW_USER_EMAIL_BODY however it does not change.

The email body currently is :

Hello X,

You have been added as a User to X by an Administrator.

This email has your username and password to log in to http://dev2.pgiti.com/

Username: X@Xl.com
Password: X

Please do not respond to this message as it is automatically generated and is for information purposes only.

Thanks, Alexandra

Hi,
constant PLG_USER_JOOMLA_NEW_USER_EMAIL_BODY should be correct (see screenshot).

Anyway this email can be sent from another plugin that replace Joomla plugin, for example ExtendedReg. Have you installed something like ExtendedReg in the past?

Hi, no we have not installed ExtendedReg.
I have been trying again to delete and recreate the language override but I cannot get it to work.
It is really important to us to be able to adjust this communication.
Is there anyway you could have a look at our system to see what could be happening?
Thank you in advance, Alexandra
