Hi

Maybe there is a solution for this?
On a site people can register to have some extra values.
And after a while they can become members.
To become a member they have to fill out a new form with some additonal fields. After sending this the form the ueser will be assigned to a new usergroup But Existing users get an error message "this email already exists". What's the best workaround to handle this?

Thank you
Christoph

Hi,
Joomla not allow to register more than one user with same email address.
I think the best way is to allow to user to edit own profile with new informations instead register a new account with same email. Of course to help you to find a better solution I need to understand better your uses case.
