Hello.
Sometimes it is useful to clone a field, in order to avoid to repeat same input steps over and over for fields that are very similar (same data type, same options). I'm trying to accomplish this by using "Save as copy" button. The problem is the copied field has a fixed alias that can not be edited. This is a problem, since I will use the import feature with records exported from another Joomla extensions, so I need to have control over alias name. Is there some solution or suggestion?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,
for now there is not a simple solution, but we add this feature to our todo list for future releases.
