Today I realized that in the social network that I have created with Easy profile, the texts appear to me with strange symbols. The language is Spanish and I have realized what happens in the "Ñ" and in the accents.
I have reinstalled the component and plugin and it is not fixed.
I leave a screenshot with the problems highlighted in a red box.
Can you please help me?

sorry for late reply, it was night for us :)

Probably this is due to a strange database (or table) charset. Can you please provide me your site details to check this? if yes then you can use the form below the reply in "Site Details" tab

Hi,
this is a problem with charset encoding.

For now we have solved it by changing file at /plugins/jsn/socialnetwork/socialnetwork.php:
- at line 112 we have replaced this
echo $social::$content;
with this
echo utf8_decode($social::$content);

- at line 131 we have replaced this
$plugin[]= $social::$content;
with this
$plugin[]= utf8_decode($social::$content);

- at line 145 we have replaced this
echo $social::$menu;
with this
echo utf8_decode($social::$menu);


Of course this is not the solution, this is a temporary patch, we still need to investigate to find a fix :( . So we ask you a little patience.

Not necessarily, this does not happen for example in our demo site or other customer sites, so I think this is problem with encoding of your Database (or only some tables). These problems can comes from different reasons

although things that still look bad are missing.
Please try to check now, I have also added utf8_decode at line 111
