Resolved Custom redirect with menu item

Hello

On my client website, I need to create menu menu items to allow users to connect and beeing redirected to specifis pages. Each menu items to a specific page.

So I create my menu Item. Of type Users / Login. Then on the parameters I specify a menu item to be redirected after a successful login.
But I am always redirected to the profile page

When I go to the config of Easy profile and change the Redirect after login menu, and when I click on my menu item and log-in, it goes to the menu item which I set in the Easy profile configuration. Not the one I set inside my menu item.

Do you know how to make it works ?

Hi,
probably this is a template bug. Return URL should be a hidden input in login form, so if you have template override then it's possible that the override do not get correct URL.

Why this?
Many templates are designed for Joomla 3.x, but unfortunately from version 3.5 (or 3.6) Joomla have changed parameters of Login menu item type (now you can choose between internal and external URL).

To test this you can rename folder /templates/your-template-folder/html/com_users/login to /templates/your-template-folder/html/com_users/login.old and check if redirect works (of course you need to disable Easy Profile redirect)
