If I have asked this before, I apologise.. getting my components mixed up

I want to do a menu item with a custom SQL

That statement is 'WHERE my_record = (ID of signed in user)' i.e jFactory::getUser()->id

I looked in the docs but cant find a short code such as [ID]

Hi,
Our Content Plugin works also in SQL Custom Where, so you can use some code like this:

my_record='{user id raw}'

NOTE: remove "WHERE"
