Resolved Date field disappears after you try to select date

Hi, am using basic version 1.3.11. I have a birthday date field in my form. Whenever I try to select a date, which is set by year, the whole date field disappears from screen. Am using a Callisto theme from Rockettheme:D , Jooma 3.4.2 with Gantry5. Please help. Thanks.

Hi,
your template use mootools-more Javascript library, this library is not used in registration page and it has a consistent weight (237 Kb), this generate a conflict with Bootstrap Javascript. Anyway your template require this library so to fix this problem try to add this CSS code in some CSS file*:
.bsdate{display:table !important;}


* maybe in this file /templates/rt_callisto/custom/css-compiled/custom_66.css ;)

I'm sorry but I did not understand, can you explain me better?

We have found another problem that cause javascript error, you have a field with ":" char in alias, this should not be allowed (I think small bug). you need to remove this field and recreate without ":" char in alias.

i mean if i add data field on registration form it works
but if i add data field (numeric ) only to profile it does not work (save any number)
i want to use it for age field.

Hi,
i want to use it for age field.
To create a age field you need to use custom field of type "Date" (not numeric), with Date field user can select date of birth.
To show age on profile page you can set parameter "Display Type" parameter to "Age" (see screenshot), so in edit profile/registration profile you set date of birth and in profile page you will see number of years.

Your template not seems have some custom CSS file, maybe you can inline CSS in template configurations
