Resolved Dropdownfield: Restrict to 4 Values?

I have a dropdwonfield with a choice of 10 entries. Is there a way to restrict the field to only allow 4 entries?

try with this code:

	jQuery(document).ready(function() {

		if (jQuery('#jform_allgemein').length) {

                     jQuery('#jform_allgemein').chosen('destroy');

                     jQuery('#jform_allgemein').chosen({

			max_selected_options: 4

		    });

                }

	});

</script>

Hi and sorry for late reply,
unfortunately this is not possible, I will take it as feature request. Now you can do this by adding following Javascript code to your template:
jQuery(document).ready(function(){

    if(jQuery('#jform_ALIASOFTHEFIELD').length) jQuery('#jform_ALIASOFTHEFIELD').chosen({ max_selected_options: 1 });

});
Replace ALIASOFTHEFIELD with the alias of your select field

I added the following code via Module to the Page:

But it doesn't work ...
