Is there a way you can think of so that I can hide a users fields from an admin depending on their user group or access level the admin has?

Some sort of conditional logic on the field would be amazing, like:

If current_logged_in_user's access level is XXX

then

Hide this field

Can you help? Thanks!!!

Hi,
for each field you can set "Available for" and "Visible for", read the tips for more informations (see screenshot). These parameter are based to Joomla ACL

Hi thanks for this,

Im actually trying to do something different.

we will have 3 different kinds of admin - and that admin will only be allowed to see certain info for the user when they edit that users profile.

I can setup 3 access levels in Joomla, but what I would like to do is for each field specify some logic.

Admin logs in and goes to user 1 profile to make a change.

LOGIC:
If the current logged in user (admin) is access level 1 show field
If the current logged in user (admin) is access level 2 hide field

I was thinking of creating a field called 'user_acl' and automatically populating this field with the current logged in users access level.

Then I could use Easy Profile's conditional logic to setup the rules for other fields.

would REALLY appreciate your assistance!!!

Thank you!

This could be a possibility, another way is to create a new usergroup and a corresponding ACL, therefore you can set "Available for" parameter only for this new ACL.
