Hi,
still an issue (or strange behaviour) with 1.4.2 and redirect after login.

I have configured all redirect after login and redirect after logout to 'default' both in my login module as in Easy profile

Use case correct behaviour:
I have a download page that is only available for registered users.

1. Guest visits and surf to the (restricted) download page
2. the guest is prompted to login first and gets the standard Joomla! login form (with social media buttons)
3. the user logins in using username and password
>> user is redirected to the (restricted) download page which displays correct because the user is now logged in

This is correct

use case faulty behaviour with social media login

1. Guest visits and surf to the (restricted) download page
2. the guest is prompted to login first and gets the standard Joomla! login form (with social media buttons)
3. the user clicks on Facebook (he already has an account linked with facebook)
>> user is NOT redirected and stays on the login page prompting him the logout button

This is not correct, the user should after login be redirected to the page with the download.

Hi,
try to see on your site if works.

Now should works so:
1. in Login Page the redirect is the same of this page
2. in others pages redirect to current page (like login module)

Can you confirm that now works as expected?

Hi,
Social Login not get redirect configuration from Login Form. You can use parameter Redirect After Login in Easy Profile option.

Maybe you have seen our changelog, that says "Fix - Redirect problem with Social login". But this is about something else: Social login keep current URL in get var called "return" (encoded in Base64), so you will have redirects like index.php?option=com_jsn&.......&return=aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuYmFzZTY0ZGVjb2RlLm9yZy8=
in some cases base64 is something like aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuYm/FzZTY0ZGVjb2RlLm9yZy8= (with "/" char), from Joomla 3.5 you need to set a raw filter to get entire value
- J 3.5 - JFactory::getApplication()->input->get('return') return aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuYm (trunked)
- J 3.x - JFactory::getApplication()->input->get('return') return aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuYm/FzZTY0ZGVjb2RlLm9yZy8 (correct)
We have fixed this :D
