Hi all...
I upload Jomsocail Bridge to use same avatar on EasyProfile & EasyDiscuss but it did not work..
It work fine for Komento...

Hi,
for now you can make this modification to EasyDiscuss, in file /administrator/components/com_easydiscuss/includes/jomsocial/jomsocial.php at line 33
replace this
if (!JFile::exists($file) || !JComponentHelper::isEnabled('com_community')) {
with this
if (!JFile::exists($file)) {


In the coming days we will work to a workaround for Jomsocial Bridge

I am using old 2.4.8 release and when I am trying to use this workaround I am unable to delete posts in EasyDiscuss. Can you give me some clues how to make delete and jomsocial avatars features working?

ADDED: When I am trying to delete post in the backend I get this error:
Table 'frostbou_jos1.#__community_activities' doesn't exist

For some reasons, website thinks jomsocial is on the site as it detected the folder /administrator/components/com_community


I also installed the latest Jomsocial bridge and the issue is permanent now. I can't delete posts from the frontend nor backend.

Hi,
probably you have enabled some other feature about Jomsocial.

Jomsocial Bridge simulate installation of Jomsocial but retrieve only avatar from Easy Profile, all other integrations should be disabled in EasyDiscuss configuration, see screenshot (almost all Jomsocial features must be disabled)

I can't edit my previous post: Merging, moving, editing of the posts works properly, only delete function is not working. Before updating Jomsocial bridge to the latest release and using default profile picture integrations, delete function worked.

Hi,
follow these instruction:
- Go to Extensions->Manage->Manage
- Search for "Bridge"
- Delete our Jomsocial Bridge
- Install attached new version

This new version create a fake table #__community_activities on installation (not on update), so it is necessary to remove old version before.

I'm afraid it doesnt work. Same error again, also when I am trying to uninstall bridge i get this message:

please try again to reinstall. You can ignore this error, this is because during installation it does not have created the fake table, so it are not able to remove (DROP TABLE return error).
