Hi, as I am new to your component I am not really sure if this is a bug or just a problem with my setup, here is what I did.

1. testing it on my beta site localy
2. joomla 3.9 + latest Easy profile 2.6
3. created new link User profile on main menu
4. logged as special user
5. edit profile in frontend works okey
6. after save changes I get an error 403

What I tried to fix it:
1. I tried re-ordering your system plugin, placing it above the joomla one
2. disabled joomla SEF completely

but it doesn't work, can't get anything to save after edit, any suggestions?

Kind regards,
Marck

Hi,
403 mean "Forbidden" (not allowed) so probably this issue comes from Admin Tools or something else Security components.
If you have Admin Tools then try to disable "Disable editing backend users' properties" and "Disable creating / editing backend users from the frontend" options from Components->Admins Tools->Web Application Firewall->Configure WAF->Hardening Options.
