The field descriptions are not showing when I hover over a field's title. We are using a new theme. On the old theme, it worked. I have but the website and a screenshot in the details.
Thank you.

We do on use Joomla articles. We use K2 articles and we do not have frontend editing for it. We also use SP page builder and use frontend editing for those pages.
I mean only for test purpose, what we are trying to explain is that this does not depend on our product but it is something regards template. You can try also to edit a module from frontend...probably you will not see any tip.

This is a javascript issue, and the Joomla bootstrap framework (located at /media/jui/js/bootstrap.min.js) is replaced by your template (/templates/shaper_helixultimate/js/jui/bootstrap.min.js for live site and /templates/shaper_helixultimate/js/bootstrap.min.js for staging).
You can make another test, try to edit an Joomla article from frontend and check if you see tips for article's fields (like title)

Our stagging site uses the same theme and it works on that site. The tips do now show when users are editing their Easyprofile profile. The only difference between the sites is the bootstrap. Does this info allow you to assist?

Hi,
sorry but the solution maybe a bit complex, you should contact your template provider. This is a issue about template and Joomla forms.

The fields' tips show on my staging site but not my live site. They use different versions of bootstrap.
Live Site: the template uses a bootstrap framework from file /templates/shaper_helixultimate/js/jui/bootstrap.min.js (custom v3)
Staging site: the template uses a bootstrap framework from file /templates/shaper_helixultimate/js/bootstrap.min.js (v4.1)

Is there CSS code I can add to the live site, or another change, that will allow the tips to display?

Hi,
unfortunately this is not a issue of Easy Profile, Easy Profile uses the same Joomla way to show field's tips.

An example:
Easy Profile improve (not replace) only registration/edit profile forms, but basically is not do nothing for "lost password" or "lost username" forms. These form comes directly from Joomla and normally you should be see Joomla Tips, but also on these form the tip did not work.
