Hi guys,
I want to add a field for the postal code in the profile. At the moment the only suiting field type seems to be "numeric". But after inserting it, I noticed that it is implemented as a drop down field. Well the range of the german postal codes goes from 11111 to 99999 and filling the drop down with thia mass of numbers takes a while and using it is no joy.
Do you plan to provide a numeric field allowing to define the data type to be used (tinyint, smallint, etc.)?

Cheers,
Stefan

Hi Stefan, sorry for the la te reply, but for we is a holiday.
Why is it a drop down?

The drop down is show by the browser, numeric is a HTML5 number input.
And why is it "decimal" in theDB?

I don't know. in the next release we convert in integer
Do you plan to provide a numeric field allowing to define the data type to be used (tinyint, smallint, etc.)?

We are open to any suggestions!!

We are working to strengthen the field of type "Text", we would like to add filters. I would recommend using the field "text" for zip code.

Merry Christmas
