Hi,
@Abhinav

GIF is a type of image compression, and it works. Yes, image lost animation.

@Sergio
I not understand your question.
You tell me "I noticed upgrading to this service removed Gifs from working in Avatars", but Joomla not have any avatar field, so Easy Profile does not remove anything.
Please add more details about your problem.
If you simply lost animation than it is normal.

Oh, I see, it isn't Joomla, but Kunena, that we used. Ever since using your service it's removed Avatars GIF's, making them all still images.

Please explain me better, What happens when you upload a GIF picture?
You lost entire image?
You lost animation?
You lost transparency?
what does it mean "removed Gifs from working"?
send me some screenshot, some details, message errors, PHP errors. Now we can't help you.

GIFs animation do not work. It stills (Meaning, no movement) the image.

I don't know how to better communicate this...

You never mentioned "animation" word before, you only write that there is not support for GIF, but GIF are not only animated GIF.

All images are resized so it's normal that you lost animation from GIFs.

You say me "removed Gifs from working in Avatars", in Kunena animated GIFs works only when you upload image with size 90x90 or less (https://github.com/Kunena/Kunena-Forum/issues/2658). This happen because if your image is small then kunena do not apply any resize.

No way to work freely with GIFs (except for some dedicated image gallery components) because Joomla and many others components use PHP GD library (also us, simply GD is most popular as default for all servers).
