Hi :( ,

Started the re-design of the new site and have created the menu item for user profile, as stated it's required. I was trying to use a 3rd party login / registration module 'SCLogin' which I believe uses the vanilla Joomla core, just as your EasyProfile does but felt I'd step back from this until I got the basics setup and working.

However, it's really getting me wound up as I can't figure how I put my personalised EasyProfile Registration Fields live on to my site, for where my visitor's would sign-up for our site and enter the required details.

You will note that if you select the 'Login or Register' link on the left side of my site's pages, I have 404 not found errors, so does this mean I physically have to make the registration and login field pages myself? :O Doesn't that defeat the object of your component?

Any help with this would be much appreciated. The site URL is in the Site Details tab of this ticket.

Regards,

Hi,

Sorry but for me works, we see correct registration page from these links. Keep in mind that Easy Profile extends Joomla user management (not replace), so registration/edit profile pages are the same of Joomla (custom fields are added by user plugin and tabs generated with javascript).

You have another problem: in your registration form I see 2 times fields like "password","confirm password","email" and "name". This problem is due to K2, registration with K2 is very very bad because it load their fields by System Plugin and not with Users Plugin and Joomla JForm API. To solve this you need to disable K2 user profile from Administration->Components->K2->Parameters->Advanced tab->Enable K2 User Profile parameter.
