Resolved How to show select multiple field values with API

Hi,
I have a select field with multiple choice. I need to show values of this field in a template override file. I used api and it works for other field but in this field it shows "Array". Let me ask you help me how can i solve this issue. My users are doctors and this field is their specifications, i can show doctors avatar and name correctly, i need to show doctors spesifications but i cannot :-\

I use $user=JsnHelper::getUser(); echo $user->getValue('field_alias');
when I use this code for "name" field it shows correctly. but when I use "spec" field it shows "Array"
also I test this code:
print_r ( $user->getValue('field_alias') it show for example: 2,4,3
these are value numbers of selected options by doctors. but I need to show their names numbers.

Hi,
this is a normal behavior, you need to use getField method instead getValue.

getValue returns raw value, this is useful for operations not for display.

example:
$user->getValue('avatar') return image URL
$user->getField('avatar') return HTML image
