Easy Profile - Joomla Extension

Hi,
probably this is a problem of your template, tips are generated by Joomla and not Easy Profile.

From version 3.6 Joomla does not use anymore Bootstrap tooltip, now Joomla use Bootstrap popover. I thinks you will have this problem also without Easy Profile.

I was thinking....

I have now edited the [language].mod_users.ini file and removed the text strings....

This is not a good way,because when you update Language or Joomla, it replace original [language].mod_users.ini file.
Alternative is to create a empty language override, go to Extensions->Languages->Overrides and create override for your language constants

Thanks for the replies. I now understand why these "popovers" have started to appear in such a strange manner since the update to Joomla 3.6. I would hope that someone will take the trouble to sort this out in a more structural manner, because they are quite a nuisance.
The first option we need would be the possibility to disable popvers altogether. Second, if popvers are enabled and used, they should be allowed to appear in a better formatted way.

I agree that editing the [language].mod_users-ini file is not ideal. I have tried to do overrides first, but for some reason if I managed to create an override for more than one description, the earlier ones would re-appear. However, I will give it another try, perhaps in an offline setting and upload the override file to the site again. I do keep a copy of the [Language].mod_users.ini file at home, so I can upload it whenever it would be overwritten by an update.
