Easy Profile extends Joomla user management, not replace, so the way is the same with or without Easy Profile. Of course you need to check that Acymailing have this feature.

Sorry but Easy Profile does not manage any download area, but probably all Download component should have this feature based on Joomla ACLs

Is there any way to limit the weight and size of the images that users upload?

This is already so, alls uploaded images will be resized with maximum size of 1000x800.
