Hi

It's great to have the Import Plugin.
After an import (2000 entries) ir realized some problems with Special Characters.

For Example
Instead of "Dénise" there is only a "D" in the field.
It's impossble to cahnge it on the frontend. But it works in the Backend.

Any idea?
Best regards
Chris

Thanks for report it, Import plugin is not stable (Beta Version), we will investigate this problem but I think this depends of the encoding of the imported file.

Hi

After testing with several encoding types (utf-8,wester, latin etc.) the problem is still ongoing.

Thank you

Chris

OK you were right, you have to encode the CSV file as UTF-8 without Byte order mark (BOM)
i did it with Notepad++.

Hi Paz

Thank you. I will try this.
But anyway. It would be great, if the plugin leave the "Beta"-State and works with Special-characters and without special workaroaund.

Thank you
Chris
