We have a required field (file upload) called resume. When new user fills out the registration form, clicks browse and selects a file, and clicks register they are given back an error of:
Warning
Invalid field: Resume
I've checked the "Options File Field" tab and verified the extensions are allowed. I've tried the format of:
txt|pdf|doc
-- and --
.txt|.pdf|.doc

Both exhibit the same results on the front end in registration with Invalid Field.
No "Parameters" are set on this field,

If we set it to not required, it allows the registration, but it does not upload the file.

Hi,
Your template override Joomla original registration template. But missing the attribute enctype="multipart/form-data" in form declaration.
So from this form You can't upload any files from registration (even avatar)
If you want tomorrow I can fix for you.

Thanks for the quick reply.
It was part of K2 that we had disabled/removed but the template files were still in /template/html/k2/....
Disabled that folder, and allowed the default joomla to take back over and its working great.

Thanks!!!

Hi,
I have made some test, and you the plugin that override the Joomla original template is "System - Helix Framework". I don't know because override template with plugin instead Joomla Override feature.

I fix this by create override for com_users with original Joomla template.
I do this:
- Go in administration->Extensions->Template Manager->Templates->Imagic_template Details and Files->Create Overrides->con_users->registration

Now should works ;)

Also I have reported this bug to Jomshaper developers.
