when I want to scale an image depending on height I expect to leave the width empty.
for easy profiles image fields the system inserst a default value of 200px with make the image totally unproportionaly.

also, does the system delete the original image after upload?

Yes. for now.

Yes because the images are always cropped! We already plan to improve options for image field:
- Choose if crop or mantain the original ratio with max-width and/or max-height
- Keep original

cool,I think Hannes also suggested to give the fields an option to set a destination folder to save the images in.
