1. I initially had the EP-K integration profiles and user list set to "YES". However, there are some things currently missing in the EP, so...
2. I turned them both to "NO". The Kunena profile returned. Yeah!
3. Then I try and change and save information on the Kunena profile and I get an error and a warning;
(see attachment 2016-04-19 20_50_42-Dragonflight - Dragonflight Forums - Forums Profile.png)
Username is already in use.
The profile did not save.
4. However, the profile information DOES save!
(see attachment 2016-04-19 20_50_59-Dragonflight - Dragonflight Forums - Forums Profile.png)

I attached the Kunena - Easy Profile plug in configuration PNG and my system information and Kunena version info.

For the foreseeable future, I want to keep the Kunena profile until I can make or I find a way to integrate ALL the Kunena profile and moderator options into EP.

I appreciate any help you can give me!!

In production it is not working. I get that error. In Staging it works.

Did you change something? Why is it working in staging and not production? I made no changes to the system.

Hi,
Did you change something?
No, I have never logged on to the backend.

Why is it working in staging and not production?
Sorry I don't know, keep in mind that we do not supports Kunena or Kunena - Easy Profile plugin (this plugin is not developed by us).

Anyway, can you please send me access to production site to check?

I now believe this has something to do with me changing that setting with existing profiles. My profile was created BEFORE I updated the setting back to Kunena Profiles.

Something was not "reset" for users who existed before I switched back from EP profiles to Kunena profiles.

Where could I start looking? Is there a setting in the database somewhere? A field like "username" left empty for the Kunena profile?

The only difference between already registered users and new users is a row in table #__jsn_users. To fill this you can try to click on "Sync" button on Easy Profile component page.

I don't know if this solve your problem, but you can try.

I added two read only columns to inform uses of required fields. Some of the users these columns were blank, where others the value was NULL.

I updated the blank columns to NULL and VIOLA!! It worked. :-)

You may want to update the Sync User command to fill read only fields and/or NEWLY created fields to NULL in the future.

Thanks! Easy Profile IS awesome. This was just a hiccup.

Nevermind!!

It didn't work. It worked for one save, then right back to the same behavior. Still need to dig in I guess.

Hi Trentin,
I have made this test:
1. Joomla Fresh Install
2. Installed Kunena
3. Register an user (now I have 2 accounts, Admin and user)
4. Installed Easy Profile
5. Installed plg_kunena_easyprofile
6. Enabled and Configured plg_kunena_easyprofile-master
Tried with both users and works.

So, can you try following test?
- Go to Administrator->Extensions->Plugins
- Search for "Easy Profile"
- Disable all plugins, with this Easy Profile do nothing.
- Try to edit kunena account, if you have still your problem then I can confirm that this is not due to "Easy Profile" and/or "Easy Profile - Kunena" plugin.
