Resolved Links to Social Network on Profile - Available only thru Easy Profile Login?

For the Links to Social Network to show on the User Profiles (PRO Version only), does this require the user to login via the Easy Profile Social login module in order for their social networks to appear on their profile, or can users simply fill out their social network IDs in the Easy Profile (SocialConnect) fields and have them appear (i.e., manually enter the IDs and have their social networks appear on profile, without having used the Easy Profile Social login module)?

sorry for late reply, it's a weekend for us.

For Facebook,Twitter and Google it work because the profile URLs are built with the social id.
Linkedin profile URL not work with ID.

You may use a Link type field to have a link for social page (no ID but URL).

there has been some misunderstanding

These are not IDs
- https://www.facebook.com/jwootenwfu
- @cloudconsulted
....

IDs are string like
Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/jwootenwfu => 100000860055830
Twitter: @cloudconsulted => 200761869
....
Check on Google some tools to get ID from Social Network

ID is a unique identifier that never changes (you cannot find this into URLs)


I think what you are saying here is that, if you have a licensed copy of the PRO version
To render social link buttons you also need Social Connect plugin.

Hi,
the only reason URLs were referenced was because of the ambiguous comment from before: "For Facebook,Twitter and Google it work because the profile URLs are built with the social id"

My mistake, I did not explain well :D - Works only if you put ID (and you have social connect plugin)

When we replied, we have not looked at the level of your subscription...sorry :)
