Hi,
this is a text field type? If yes then try to check if you have selected "Search Mode" to "LIKE - contain phase" (see screenshot)

Hi,
I have just tried in a our environment and seems to works.

See screenshots:
1) the user have value "üsküdar" for c1 field and it is in the result for search "uskudar"
2) the user have value "uskudar" for c2 field and it is in the result for search "üsküdar"

Also in screenshot 3 you will see that the search is valid also for something like "üskudar" (both turkish or english)

NOTE: I have also tested ş with s and works

Probably there is some problem with your DB charset (Joomla should use ), because "LIKE" search should give you results like mine (it is also case insensitive, so for example A = a = à or ş = S = s). You can test it in a tool like PhpMyAdmin (normally this tool is provided by all hosting providers)

Hi,
I mean "LIKE" operator should give you result like my screenshot. If this does not works so then probably there is a problem with DB charset.

Joomla install DB with charset set to "utf8mb4 and collation set to "utf8mb4_unicode_ci"
