Hi

I wanted to find out the difference between "visibility" and "availability"

In my opinion, certain fields whose access level are specially set should only be editable in the frontend by their members.
The idea is, only User with a certain Acceslevel should see an be able to edit some fileds in the frontendform.
Unfortunately, I couldn't find anything about this in the documentation.
So I tried the forum. Unfortunately, very many of the search results produce a 404.

Best Regards
Christoph

Hi,
I wanted to find out the difference between "visibility" and "availability"
This is described in the Tips (screenshots), mainly:
- Availability define the availability of the field for specific user profile: for example you can have 2 profile types like student and teacher, a field like "teaching courses" will be available only for a teacher's profile.
- Visibility define the visibility of the field, so who can see this field: for example you can have 2 profile types like Job seeker and Companies, a field like "Curriculum" could be visible only for Companies (so private for others Job seekers)

The idea is, only User with a certain Acceslevel should see an be able to edit some fileds in the frontendform.
I think that in this case you should use "Availability" configuration
