Hi - the easy profile member link works in Edge, but displays Login page on Chrome when user is logged in.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Hi,
sorry but I can't check this because credentials not works.

Anyway this is not due to Easy Profile, if you see login page mean that you need to make a login. Otherwise there is something that remove your browser cookies (not Easy Profile).

Hi,
sorry for late reply, it's too late for us and our offices are closed.

I have just tested on your site with chrome and works. I think you have a problem in your chrome browser.

Try in a Joomla Clean installation without Easy Profile, I think you will have same thing or try in another devices with Easy Profile installed.

Hi - thank you for your response. The client we did the site for tested on 2 different machines and same result (plus mine, so that is 3). Did you test our dev site once or twice? it works the first time. Not the second.

Hi,
finally I found the cause, when you login via login module there is a strange redirect. I do not know why, but this happen only on your site :o

to solve I forced redirect of login module to "Profile" page and now it is solved (see screenshot)

I'm sorry but for us is night, so I can continue my investigation only tomorrow. It's possible to have also FTP details to make some check on your test site?

NOTE: this behavior happen on all browser but only in determinate conditions.

Hi,
redirected login to profile - not a long term solution.
I know, you have right :D, this is a temporary solution, with this your users can login via login module without problems tonight.

Tomorrow we will find a solution :D I'm sorry to make you wait but the question was given to us too late (6.38 PM :o ). I hope you can understand.

NOTE: this seems to happen only on your site, so for us is most simple to find solution with FTP access. Are you available to grant FTP access to us (only on test site) ?

Hi,
after many tests on our environment, for us it's impossible to replicate this error (probably due to PHP session configuration of your webserver).

This problem is very strange because when login is done from Login page it works, but from Login module, cause the redirect. Basically login module and login page are the same the only difference is that login page send some data via get and login module all vars via post. For Joomla this should not be a problem.

Anyway, to find a fix we need to make some checks on your environment, so without FTP access we can't help you.
