Hi,

all of the sudden,, i am not able to open the admin panel.it was working till i last login and no changes were done.

even after clearing my joomla installation all together and reinstalling everything (social plugin) etc..still admin panel throws a 110 connection timeout error.

i understand it could be something on which i have to reach out to my hosting provider...

just wanted to confirm that there could not be any reason within the product. and some guidance on what exactly the hosting guys should check would be really helpful.

attaching test site info..

Fixed, I have commented from line 145 to line 156 on file /plugins/jsn/socialnetwork/app/Controller/HomeController. I don't know why this problem, maybe some version of Curl or some fopen configuration on your server. anyway we will remove these lines in next release.

Hi,
examples
1 if I share this link http://gag2game.com/Jomt/index.php/photos/view/1 I see correct title of page and correct meta desc (screenshot 1)

2 if I share this link http://gag2game.com/Jomt/index.php/photos/view/1#content I see bad title of page and no meta desc (screenshot 2)

Why?
in second example when you paste this link in status box then Facebook get infos from its cache (no time to show), probably the first time that you shared, it could not parse the page correctly (slow connection, some network late...)

Hi,
SO,by slow connection,do u mean client connection (my desktop internet speed ) or server connection (my hosting service provider Internet speed )
this is just a guess, anyway slow connection between servers. it may also be due to the speed of the servers of Facebook, it is known that are collapsing because saturated (many facebook pages are very very slow)

Also,i see the text which it retrieved (login page text) is there in page only if user is not logged in already...So,ideally for a logen in user it shoudnt be populating ..

how can i stop a "guest" user from sharing as the share link is always seems to be enable?
Facebook have stored Guest info because facebook servers are always guest (connection is between servers).

To avoid this you can add some other text before Social Network plugin, for example some slogan or description.
