Hi!

I just added a new radio field, with the following configuration:

0|Outros
1|Promoters
2|Pilotos e equipes

Conditions:
If custom value equal 0 - add user to Joomla Registered group.
If custom value equal 1 - add user to Joomla Registered and Joomla Promoters Groups
If custom value equal 2 - add user to Joomla Registered and Joomla Pilotos groups

Set is as
Published - Yes
Required - Yes
Visible on profile - Yes
Visible on Edit Profile - No
Visible on registration - Yes
Searchable - Yes
Access level - Public

When I try to edit a user in backend, to set this field to "Promoters" and save it, it takes a few seconds and then stops loading with a white screen, after a refresh it loads the users list again, but the new field is not recorded.

I had to set the field to Not required to be able to edit the profile, but even if I change the user from a group to another, it does not record this change.

Any tips?

Thanks

Hi,
I have found a bug in usergroups assign, on monday we will release new version. (not work well with multiple usergroups)

Anyway you have set this:
Conditions:
If custom value equal 0 - add user to Joomla Registered group.
If custom value equal 1 - add user to Joomla Registered and Joomla Promoters Groups
If custom value equal 2 - add user to Joomla Registered and Joomla Pilotos groups

This is wrong because the conditions have 2 way, for example if user choose 0 happen this:
- condition 1 add Registered group
- condition 2 remove Registered and Joomla Promoters Groups
- condition 3 remove Registered and Joomla Pilotos groups
Result: no usergroup

Try to set this:
If custom value equal 0 - do nothing
If custom value equal 1 - add user to Joomla Promoters Groups
If custom value equal 2 - add user to Joomla Pilotos groups

The Registered group is always assign to new user. this is set into Users->User Manager->Options->Group for new user

Hi!
I've done what you've told me and things seemed to work properly, but after a few users started to edit their own profiles, it only keeps the Registered group, other groups are deactivated.

For example:

User Alex has chosen value 2 whn he was registering himself (so, he was registered as Pilotos e equipes Group and the default Registered Group)

When user Alex edits his own profile and saves it, he no longer is part of the group Pilotos e Equipes, he is a member of Registered only after this.

Is it my logic that is still off?

Thanks.

I understood and tried. you're right, the problem occurs because the field is not in the edit form.

We will fix in next release.
